Japan Da’wah Centre is an Da’wah Organisation in Japan, It was established and founded by the Malaysian & Japanese who has been supported by the Malaysian , Indonesia, Singapore community back in 2019.
JDC is using a Wafu (Japanese Traditional Concept) across all aspects of its foundation, from its building, design and to the development of all its segments of activities and events that represent the harmonious of our Muslim community.

3 Stages of Da’wah

A thoughtful, step-by-step approach to sharing Islam — from building trust to nurturing new Muslims in the community.

Stage 1: Building Friendship and Trust

The first stage is to build genuine friendships with non-Muslims and demonstrate Islamic values through good character, kindness, honesty, and respect.

Main Goal

To remove misunderstandings about Islam and create positive relationships.

Main Focus

  • Be friendly and approachable
  • Build trust and connection
  • Do not pressure people

At this stage, the objective is simply to connect with people and let them see Islam through our behavior.

Stage 2: Teaching Interested People About Islam

The second stage is to identify people who are sincerely interested in Islam and want to learn more or become Muslim.

Main Goal

To teach them the basics of Islam and guide them toward becoming Muslim.

Main Focus

  • Answer their questions
  • Teach the core beliefs of Islam
  • Explain how to become Muslim
  • Provide support and encouragement

This stage focuses on sincere learners who are open to understanding and accepting Islam.

Stage 3: Supporting New Muslims

The third stage begins after a person becomes Muslim.

Main Goal

To help new Muslims live a strong Islamic life and become active members of the community.

Main Focus

  • Teach daily Islamic practices
  • Help them build Japanese Islam culture
  • Support their personal growth
  • Encourage them to join volunteer and community work

This stage ensures that new Muslims continue learning, growing, and contributing positively to society.

To develop a uniquely Japanese Islamic culture, so that second-generation Japanese Muslims do not lose their identity as Japanese Muslims.

2011

Dakwah to Christian Church

Catholic, Protestant, Mormon, Jehovah witness, etc.

2013

Dakwah Islam di Bumi Matahari Terbit (DidBMT) was founded

Dakwah activity start at Masjid Kobe by Zulkarnain and his friends Then slowly spread throughout Japan

2018

Idea of Establishment (November)

Lead by Mr Zulkarnain Hasan Basri and Persatuan Fajar Iman Matahari Terbit lead by Ustaz Abdullah Bukhari. The Malaysian community is the LARGEST INVESTOR for the construction of JDC.

2019

Founded in January

Funded by Persatuan Fajar Iman Matahari Terbit led by Ustaz Abdullah Bukhari. Under advise of Tuan Guru Dato Dr Abdul Basit Abdul Rahman

2020

JDC Officially Launched

We started JDC in 2020

2024

Purchased Land for Masjid al-Da'wah

Scheduled opening of Masjid Al-Da'wah Wakayama in September.

2026

Build Masjid al-Da'wah

Scheduled opening of Masjid Al-Da'wah & Japan Da’wah Centre Wakayama in November 2026.
